KW Arts Awards Recognition Reception
Lastnight I went to receive my nomination for the Leading Edge Category. The Seagrams Wharehouse building in uptown Waterloo, this huge-ass monument was packed with nominees, past winners, polititians, dignitairys and media. Among them waas also some good friends, Lucas Stagg, Kris Miles, Mary-Anne Epp and The Benefits Of Doubt. It was a decent shindig, we find out the winners on April 8th.

Check it out folks, i’m gonna be all up in the Boathouse this Spring summer with these 3 upcoming shows i have there, as you know you can always catch me any Tuesday night bustin out a few songs with the band (Paul Goosens, Buddy Luv, occasionally Kris Miles)… but you can catch me there guest of The Stars Here and The Machines on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18th, 2006! That’s the Boathouse my friends, located at 57 Jubilee Drive, Victoria Park in Kitchener. That’s a 19+ show, which begins at 9pm and $5 at the door. Not bad at all!
Please feel free to join us over at The Circus Room (729 King St. E, Kitchener), for the SCOTIA ENTERTAINMENT songwriter-showcase, that’s on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9th, 2006! Also playing will be Shawn Sage, Ryan Neufeldt and Amy Jacobs, all terrific artists and people. It’s also 19+, starts at 9 and is $5 at the door.
